Salt Lake City is the capital city of the state of Utah and has a population of approximately 1.1 million people. Dozens of business conferences will be taking place in Salt Lake City during 2014. The Smart Card Alliance Payments Summit will be held at the Grand America Hotel on South Main Street in February. It is being organized by Smart Card Alliance. Cliff Lodge near Snowbird Ski Resort will play host to Utah Winter Finance Conference held by the University of Utah in February. In March, Salt Palace Convention Center on West Temple will be home to the Adobe Summit being organized by Adobe Systems Incorporated. SAE International will be organizing the Aerospace Manufacturing and Automated Fastening Conference and Exhibition in September also at the Salt Palace Convention Center on West Temple.
